Seletar MRT (TE6) on the Thomson-East Coast Line is the closest station providing direct access to the central and southern parts of Singapore. Springleaf MRT (TE5) is one stop north and Bright Hill MRT (TE7) one stop south toward Bishan.

Seletar is a low density neighbourhood in Singapore's north-central corridor, historically associated with the former Seletar Airbase and the surrounding landed estates. Seletar has almost no street level commercial space oriented toward lending services. The area is dominated by aerospace facilities, landed housing and green buffer zones around the reservoir. Borrowers in Seletar typically access lender offices in Ang Mo Kio or Yishun both reachable within a few MRT stops on the Thomson-East Coast Line.
Foreign workers holding a valid Employment Pass, S Pass or work permit can apply. Required documents include a passport, work pass, and income proof. Those earning under $20,000 annually are subject to a borrowing cap of $1,500 across all licensed moneylenders combined. Foreign workers earning $20,000 or above may borrow up to six times their monthly salary.
NRIC for Singaporeans and PRs. Foreigners need a valid passport and work pass documentation. All applicants must provide proof of income, recent payslips, CPF statements or bank records showing salary credits. Address verification is also required such as a utility bill, property tax notice or tenancy agreement.
With complete documentation, approval typically takes 30 minutes to one hour. Same-day disbursement via cash or bank transfer is standard for most lenders. The lender must explain every clause of the loan contract before the borrower signs, this is a legal requirement and adds some time so borrowers should budget at least an hour for the full process.
