Yew Tee is a small neighborhood in Singapore's northwest, sandwiched between Choa Chu Kang and the Kranji industrial agricultural corridor. The neighbourhood is centred around Yew Tee MRT, a modest cluster of HDB's and the Yew Tee Point and Limbang Shopping Centre retail spaces. It is one of the quieter residential pockets on the North South Line popular with families drawn to its affordability, proximity to Kranji Reservoir Park and relatively low density.

Dedicated moneylender offices within the Yew Tee are unlikely. Borrowers typically visit lenders in Choa Chu Kang one MRT stop south or Woodlands, a few stops north where more lender offices are located.
NRIC for Singaporeans and PRs. Foreigners require a valid passport and work permit, S Pass, or Employment Pass. All applicants must provide income proof recent payslips, CPF contribution statements or bank records. A document confirming current residential address such as a utility bill, HDB letter or town council correspondence is also required.
Provided all documentation is complete, approval generally takes 30 minutes to one hour. Disbursement typically happens the same day either in cash or via bank transfer. The lender is legally required to explain every term of the loan contract before the borrower signs so applicants should allow at least an hour for the full visit.
Three categories only: monthly interest capped at 4% on the outstanding balance, a one-time administrative fee of up to 10% of the loan principal and a late payment charge of up to $60 for each missed monthly repayment. The total cost of borrowing, principal, interest, fees, and all penalties combined cannot exceed twice the original loan amount under the Moneylenders Act.
